Non-profit / Non-governmental
Non-profit organizations (NPOs) include all entities where funds are not distributed to owners, but are used in pursuing the organization's reasons of existence. Several examples would be charitable organizations, trade unions and public arts organizations. Most governments and government agencies meet this definition, but in most countries they are considered a separate type of organization and not counted as non-profit organizations. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), sometimes called civil society organizations, are entities where there is no governmental participation. KPIs measure the efficiency in raising the resources needed and the impact of their redistribution.
