Government policy and legislation promoting performance management

In many countries, performance management is promoted by government though policy and legislation. Some focus on the use of performance management systems by government institutions, others require private companies to establish individual performance management systems for employees.

Some examples are:

  3. USA: http://www.cgma.org/Resources/Reports/DownloadableDocuments/strategic-performance-public-sector.pdf

What other countries could be added to the list?
